We all need to take a step back and take in what we would be without our wonderful Savior. This video really puts everything in perspective. We need to love our Savior “More then life”. How would we act if we really did need him more then life?

Duet. 21:1-9 CRIME SCEEN INVESTIGATORS. It was the custom if anyone was murdered in an open field in the O.T. and there were no witnesses, the leaders and judges would go out and measure the distance from the slain body to the nearest town. The elders and leaders of that nearest town would then take a cow and lead her down to a valley and break the cows neck. The elders would then wash their hands over the cow and proclaim that they are innocent of the death of the victim. After this act the blood would be atoned. WOW I’m glad I don’t live in that day. Rituals performed totally allowed a murderer to go free. it was the sins of the world that Jesus came to die for. It was his innocent Blood that purged our sins. The crime sceen was in order and an innocent man gave his life for the guilty. The witnesses falsly accused him and he was put on a cross to die. Because of his sacrifice the guilty party walked away scott free. Isn’t it proper that we would simply live for him to show him thanks for taking our guilt upon his shoulders?

hey all thanks so much for all the support that you guys have shown my family in the passing of my grandma. She was a true example. It seems like the stage is set for us to be the Generation that carries the torch. I have it made up in my mind it WILL NOT end with me. I have made up in my mind this is what I am for life. No plan B. I am so glad to see all the young people stepping up to be a part of this youth group. Buy into this thing while you are young. without God what do you really have? I’m so proud of all you Love ya lots STYP

Hmm. spiritual thoughts huh?
Well for some this may be difficult but since I’m the back side of a two year fast from food and H2O this should be childs play. In case any were wondering that was a joke it would be physically impossible for me to fast food and water that long… well anyways I’ve been thinkin about that sermon Bro. Mangun preached “A Nail In a Sure Place” Isa 22:23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. On this Easter weekend I cant help but thank Jesus for his sacrifice. I am so happy that the nail was drove into the loving hands of a savour who did not fail us. The immortal all powerful God became flesh and endured pain that none of us could have… and when the rubber met the road, at the most crucial time in history, the pivotal point of humanity, when the easiest thing to do would have been to skip calvary, he did not fail us. In fact he was the only one who could fix this sin problem. I am thankful that this burden fell upon the shoulders of one who could carry it and would not drop the load.

How many people just ask for what they need? How much more could God give if we only ask more of him? Are we the reason why we don’t see as many miracles? If we believe what the bible says…why don’t we expect more? I believe that we have become more relient on ourself that we are on God. We go to God as a second choice. If (insert solution) doesnt work then we always have God. Why not make God your primary solution? Why not put God first? I am not sure why but I believe that we are to scared to put our problems into the hands of the all powerful God.  People don’t believe that the little problems in our life our big enough for God to care about. It an almost agnostic relationship with God. People know that God exist…they know that he cares…..but they think that the problem just isnt big enough to go to God about. God wants to be in the little things…He wants to be closer then a brother. He created us for fellowship. He wants to be our mentor our……I think we all should all take a step back and ask God for a more personal relationship. Stop thinking Creator…Created….Start thinking Friend….Friend.

So this has kinda turned in the “Battle of the Sexes” blog. Post your thoughts on who is going to win (guys), and what the losing team should have to do…Let us know. Hope everyone is excited as me!!!

WK1.  Your relationship with God:  It’s the most important relationship you will ever have.  This of course is your relationship with God.  From this stems all other relationships in your life. Before we are ready to date, we must first be in love with God.  Join us as we focus on God and you.

WK2. The Savings Account:   One thing that young people don’t do well is save their money.  With all of the things you can buy now why save your cash for the future? We will examine the importance of not spending all of yourself during the dating years, and prepare for a lasting future relationship.

WK3. Rules of Engagement: The person that said rules were meant to be broken probably didn’t make it too far in the real world.  Without rules things can get out of control pretty quickly.  Come join us this week as we lay down the rules to a successful dating life.

WK4.  Jacob and Amnon: Two men loved two women.  We will talk about each of their lives and how their choices affected their relationships in two totally different ways.  We will discuss the fact that God is looking for a Jacob in an Amnon world
